Not at all if get an Associates degree what transfers is the degree itself not the individual credits therefore in your new college you just need to take classes above the Associates level towards the Bachelors.

If you can possibly swing it,get your Associate’s Degree at a brick and mortar community college. Many UoP students have trouble getting reputable colleges and universities to accept their credits for transfer.

You may have problems. I’m 29, and I decided to earn my Bachelor’s in much the same manner your thinking about. I already had my associates degree when I decided to further my education to a Bachelor’s.

One (4-year) college that I looked into tried to stiff me on almost every class I took to get my Associates. They only wanted to transfer 3 courses, of God only knows how many, I had taken (2 of the 3, they wanted to combine to equal one of there courses).

Talk to the college you want to get your Bachelor’s from and see what 2 year colleges they will easily accept transfers for.
