I have two bachelors degrees and have been working the graveyard shift at this call center for TWO years. It’s a job NOBODy else wants. it’s just me and a supervisor, only two of us on this shift. My supervisor is leaving and i put in for the promotion. They’re hiring a young person with only a high school diploma and just a year of customer service experience to be my boss. I decided to leave the graveyard shift and go to the day shift. Also, I’ve decided to earn a teaching certificate online and go to teach english abroad for a year.

I have ten years of customer service experience and have given up nights and weekend with this company for the past two years. If I can’t work my way up I don’t think there’s any incentive to stay here..
