I am finishing up my BS degree in Health Science Dec 2010. I have decided to go into nursing and eventually become a Pediatric NP. The state of IL requires you become a CNA before starting an RN program. I would like to take an online CNA course because I don’t have time to take a month off work. Does anyone know if I just take a CNA test in the state of IL? I am originally from FL. The state of Fl allows you to test out of a clinical CNA program and just take the exam.
