Yup, KCTC. They r schools in Kentucky and have very low tuitions, about $140 per credit hour, for instate students. And if u want to do it at home, they offer full online courses as well.
I go to BCTC, Bluegrass Community Technical College. The only draw back is the teachers I have had for the fall 2011 and spring 2012 semesters have been assholes.
And also Texas has a couple colleges/ universities with the technical programmes and courses., but they are higher per credit hour.
Kentucky state sales tax is 6%, meaning if u buy a candy for $1, it’ll $1.06 after tax. In Texas, it’s 9%, so if u buy that same candy bar for $1 it’ll be $1.09 after tax.
I lived in Houston, Texas for 7.5 yrs and now for the last 6 yrs I have been living in Lexington, Kentucky. I hate living here, it’s not as full of life like Houston was 365 days a yr. In lexington it gets a little hectic during basketball season, when the Wildcats play, but other than that its dead and boring.
Hope this helps good luck
