Hi. I currently work as an Electrical Engineer in Training. I work for a consulting company that creates construction documents – we do power layouts for hospitals, schools, etc. I have 3 years experience and a Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering but I am an Industrial Engineering major. I passed my E.I.T. certification also. I can sit for my PE next spring and essentially become a PE in a year or two. Most of our work is done using AutoCAD and AutoCAD MEP.
Does anyone have any idea what my average salary should be? based on what I’ve seen online it should be anywhere between $65k-86k.

The range of 65-86k is after several years of experience. With your 3 years of exerience and only a BS, your average salary would probably be shy of the 65k. However, after you get more experiene and compete your PE, you will be well nested in the 65-85k range.
