Hello!

I am working on an undergraduate degree online as I also have obstacles which prevent me from attending school traditionally. Ensure that the online school that you pick is fully accredited (one way to know this for sure is to check whether or not the school offers federal loans and/or grants as financial aid options). I am unsure of whether or not your degree will show that you completed it online… from my understanding it does not, and so potential employers will not know unless you tell them.

One thing that I will caution you about, however, is that you will likely have to get a masters degree in order to practice as a child psychologist. Most bachelor level psychology degrees limit what you may do in your field. Also, many states require you to complete a certain number of working hours in your degree field before you are allowed to become a licensed professional. I would encourage you to visit your state’s website for information on their licensing requirements and/or restrictions.

I hope that this helps!!
