If is a genuinely accredited university, then you can. But Phoenix and the like are bogus.

If it is done through the university and it is an accredited university, absolutely. If it is some company saying it, you need to be more cautious and do some research. I’ve done online classes through a community college and it transferred to a 4 year university with no problems. They didn’t even look if it was online or not because the school is accredited.

I was distrustful too. My wife started an online Masters program through George Washington University that is funded by her employer. It has been a great experience so far. This is only 1 school but I’m a believer now!

Good Luck!

yes but only use a program from a university that exists in a campus form as well-then u know its real (the more well known ones-or ones where u can physically go talk to your lecturers at a school). those that only appear on the internet a lot of them just want you to pay hundreds or even thousands just to give u the certificate and employers know who they are so its not worth bothering with these kind

yes!
Pick up the book by BEAR. He began a book about the subject, and now his daughter continues the work.
It’s a compilation of universities and colleges from
around the world that offer distance learning for all
degrees at different budgets. I believe they are all
accredited.
I can’t remember the name of the book offhand.
I believe it’s Bear’s Guide to Distance Learning—
something like that.
A bookstore like Barnes & Noble would have it-or can get
it for you. :)

In this day in age online study is just as good as on campus studies. I earned my bachelors degree in Criminal Justice and Business and 4 languages all online and finished them all in allot less time than on campus. And most business is finding online studies as an advantage because the student can also get his work experience on top of the education. As example doing my studies online I also worked for a multi-billion dollar company. With all that experience I’m only 20 years old and I make $225,000 a year which however I started my studies early at age 18. Very important however to make sure the school is accredited that makes a world difference. Good Luck!!!
