No, you can’t take the GED now. States have age requirements for that – somewhere between 16 and 19 depending on the state, and you must officially drop out of high school 3 months before taking it even if you meet the age requirements. If you take the GED, that’s it – no high school. And chances are you’re not ready for college if no one has suggested you don’t skip high school. The SAT is easy – haven’t taken high school math or science or English yet, and you need that.

You can’t apply for GED, until you are 18+. You need to officially drop out of High School for 1 year.
