Sure, lots of schools do. The Southern Regional Electronic Board offers a searchable database of online degrees and online courses from schools throughout the Southeastern United States, as well as some other schools as well. You can find programs at schools in the Carolinas that will interest you at their site.

Actually, Clemson and UNC both offer distance programs. Almost everyone is teaching online these days.

The SREB is an excellent source of information.

Programs through the University of North Carolina system can be browsed here –> http://www.northcarolina.edu/content.php/aa/distance/index.htm

You’ll find that East Carolina University is big into distance learning.

I found 148 wholly online programs (http://www.northcarolina.edu/content.php/apps/disted2/searchresults.php) offered through the UNC system. UNC-Chapel Hill is doing mostly master’s and undergrad health online. They even have a couple doctorates offered by distance learning.

Unfortunately, there’s not a similar search tool for the USC system and SC hasn’t embraced distance learning at the same magnitude that NC has.

Remember, if you’re going to do it online, it really matters very little where you’re at. Some fine colleges like Harvard, Columbia, and UC-Berkeley are teaching online too.
