As long as they’re 100 level we will accept online classes. For the Army, the difference between online classes and physical classes is the fact that you can enlist while currently enrolled in a physical college (assuming your ship date is after your final class and you don’t fail a class) but you have to wait until you are already finished with 15 semester hours before you can enlist with online classes.
ADDED: We were given authorization through a USAREC message (which aren’t released directly to civilians or even other Soldiers who aren’t working in Accessions Command) to accept online classes for enlistment purposes late last year. The message said as long as they’re accredited, 100 level courses we can accept them. If someone told you we don’t accept them their information is outdated because our battalion education specialist verified we can accept them.
They have to be college level. In other words, they cannot be 099 level or remedial courses. You are asking this in regards to having a ged?
for initial entry purposes, no. they must be from in the classroom
The military accepts credits from any Federally Recognized Accredited College or University. The only time you should be worried is if the school your currently attending loses its accreditation.
