If you see an online degree applicants, are you confused? Because of my work schedule, I need a graduate degree online. However, as an employer, you, as an online degree worth?
We do, as long as the degree is from an accredited, well known university. We prefer a bricks and mortar, like Phoenix University as an example, because it actually has campuses around the country and doesn’t just exist online. Many large companies, like Sony, UPS, Mitsubishi, use online universities from which to recruit and to send their employees for advanced degrees. Some universities do not make a distinction on their diplomas as to whether the degree was earned online as well.
My wife works in HR and dosen’t put much stock in them.
There are a number of universities that offer weekend masters programs. Maybe you could look at that?
That depends.
Taking online courses at an established accredited university, you will receive a physical diploma.
Taking online courses through an online college, you won’t need to worry about issues with your employer viewing your diploma, because they won’t have any interest in doing so. Online diplomas are a joke.
