Ask the Nanny to come for a day while you’re there, to let the kids get used to her while you’re still in the house.

Your kids will be anxious at first, but if you give them some quality time in the evening, reassuring that Mommie will be gone for just a while and will be back, they should adjust just fine. Good luck !

Honestly, you should wait until your ten month old is in school. Your kids needs don’t disappear because you’ve decided to go back to school. They aren’t going to understand why you can’t be with them, and why, when you are home, your homework is more important than they are. What could be more important than raising your kids?
