Has anyone taken an online course at a community college? If so how often were you required to “go in”?

I am asking because I am currently taking an “online” course yet for the 3rd time this semester the instructor has asked us to come in (twice for tests) and a third for a book check. This troubles me since the reason I opted for “online” was due to the fact I am at home with a small child. Please, Please advise.

If you take online classes you have to go in like 3-4 times a week. If you aren’t that busy..it would be easier not to do online.

It really depends on the course. I have taken some classes where you just come in for midterm and final. others where its part online part class so you have to come in more often. You have to read the fine print.
