Social Sciences and Humanities courses (those that involve more reading and critical thinking) are likely to be easier taking online versus Math or Science types.
That said, when it comes to the murky area of online classes depends heavily on the instructor’s ability to lead it. Shortcomings often include lack of punctuality in responding to emails, difficult communitication because it’s often not in real time, and a general inability to portray one’s message through computer.
I’d recommend checking the professor out on ratemyprofessors.com.
