There are at least 115 colleges where you can get a degree in accounting online. http://www.petersons.com/distancelearning/code/nameresults.asp?sponsor=1&FromPage=DetailSearch

Don't expect it to be either fast or easy though. If you get the degree from a reputable college then getting it online will be much more difficult than getting it in the classroom. You'll take exactly the same courses and exams anyone in the classroom program takes and it will take just about as much time.

There are major, traditional universities that offer online degrees.

In fact, if there's a uni near you that offers online degrees, no one will even be able to tell that you did it online - after all, if you could conceivably have driven to the campus, what about your resume would show that you did it online? So you can check the unis in and near your home state to see if they offer online degrees, if you're interested. Also check the community colleges, if an associates degree would work for you.

Or you can do an online degree via Penn State, U Maryland, UMass Amherst, Northeastern, Florida State, Drexel U, the SUNY schools, the U Texas system, some of the Cal States, Southern New Hampshire U, Ball State, U Nebraska, Kansas State, U Illinois, Tiffin U, Union College, and many others.
