Having gone through an ID program, I do not see how you can get any sort of education on line-we did drafting & models and boards and all kinds of things weekly, and also benefited from critiques of others presentations & works. While you do not need anything to be a decorator, being a designer requires certain tasks to qualify for the ASID exam, so your on line program may not be a prudent choice.
