If I were you, I would find a brick-and-mortar college that provides a distance education program. For profit schools are in it for the money, not the education. I should know. I was interested in DeVry and for a year they hounded me before I enrolled. Before the first day of class, I decided to withdraw because I had second thoughts. I got a 100% refund, and now applying to a non-profit school. I also speak out against these for-profits and try to keep applying to these schools. Many have lost a king’s ransom on these schools. Think twice.

Before you get too eager to enroll in Kaplan University Online do a search using the key words “kaplan university ripoff” and read about how many people who enrolled in Kaplan University Online were riped off because Kaplan University Online accepted and stole their student loans, grants and registration fee and blocked them out of their online courses without giving them the education or degree that was promised by Kaplan University Online.
