It’s normal but if you fall on your stomach you can hurt the baby so anytime you feel dizzy or week sit down. I faint all the time and the best thing for it is orange juice. it really helps!! trust me.

While I fainted once I wasn’t pregnant. It is scary, so I know it prob shook you up. Fainting and Dizziness is common in pregnancy. I think what it was was you were hot and you go tup too fast. Next time try to get up a little slower and try not to be out too long in the heat. Sounds like you and your husband were meant to be :)

I never fainted during my pregnancy. But I do not that a drop in blood pressure could cause fainting, low blood sugar can cause fainting. Fainting can be quite common in pregnancy.

Good Luck and Congratulations!

With my first baby, I fainted while waiting in the layaway line at TJMaxx, LOL. I said to my husband, “I think I’m going to…” then I wake up with all these nosey nellies hovering over me. I was mortified, but more angry than embarrased. I said, “What–you’ve never seen someone faint before?!” lol The TJMaxx manager insisted on calling an ambulance, but my husband and I left and went out to lunch. (I didn’t land on my stomach or hit my head or anything, so I wasn’t worried.)

I attribute it to several things: a) I hadn’t eaten that day, so it was low blood sugar; b) when you’re pregnant, your body manufacturers up to 50% more blood than you normally have, thus screwing with your blood pressure; and c) I’d been on my feet a LONG time, and I think that had something to do with it.

After that I was very careful to avoid standing too quickly, avoid standing for too long a period, and I always carried a snack with me (peanut butter crackers, usually).

I’m sorry about the fainting, but the part about your husband calling is so cute! Lol!
