I know I need about 200 hours for hands-on clinical experience. Is there a way I can complete instructional part online. I live in Orlando, so it would be helpful in the vicinity.
I was going to a tech school which was only 1,500 for the whole program to qualify me for the NCBTMB. I am NOT looking for some crazy tuition of 10,000-20,000 online university.
Thank you.
If you are planning to practice in Florida, you will need to complete a state approved program for licensing. The national exam is only a part of the process. Contact the Florida Massage Therapy Board. I doubt the board will allow on-line programs (hands-on or otherwise) to be acceptable for training. I also doubt a massage school will allow someone to just do the hands-on training classes without requiring the rest of the coursework to be completed.
