Ok where to start. I am enrolled in a local public college that I am very unsatisfied with. I have slaked off a lot lately because the school is just terrible it’s no where close to the quality of school I used to go to before I transferred. My GPA has suffered tremendously and there is no way I can bring it up in order to transfer out. Ok my question is could I raise my GPA if I took online courses from an online college? Would the credits I get count if the state government says that the college is accredited? What would be a good place to start looking?

First, do NOT go to an unaccredited school for any reason. Those credits will NOT transfer back into an accredited school and count towards your degree.
Second, I truly believe that more depends on the student than the school. You will get more out of your ‘terrible’ school if you put more into it. Schools do not maintain their accreditation if they are truly ‘terrible.’ Take responsibility for your GPA yourself; your grades are up to you. Of course you can raise your GPA. Have you talked to anyone about how to do that? Seek assistance from the Counseling/Advising/Guidance department. Your grammar and spelling tell me you aren’t paying too much attention in class! I bet there are some things you could do right where you are to make things better.
