Things I would want out of a job. I would like a job that would involve creative problem solving, researching, and that allowed me to work with my hands constantly and preferably not confined to one spot. I would like a job that allowed independence, didn’t have me chained to a chair all day, and was stimulating. I like to write but more in a creative sense, so that could be a hobby or side jaunt. I want a job that would be acceptable at entry level with a bachelor’s degree, as I do not plan on going any further, or I would preferably like a career that would require me to obtain specialized training such as an A.A.S or certificate. I do not mind getting in the grit and grime but I do value to some extent social interaction with different people and like to provide assistance. I need a job that is not emotionally draining (i.e, nurse), I have anxiety issues and that would NOT work well, neither would teaching, tried that. So what is out there?
Background:
I have a variety of work experiences that have lasted about 6 months each, from mechanics to waitressing, to shipping, to substitute teaching. I’m fixing to finish my A.A in General Studies and have been accepted to U of I Online for Liberal Studies degree(I’m still debating on pursuing due to money but that is not the issue at hand).
