I wouldn’t do the online course or the nursing degree. I would start on track to a degree specific program that encompasses the courses that are required for entrance into the graduate phase of the PT program. This most typically involves a lot of lab courses such as biology, chemistry and physics…therefore, you will not get these in a program for health admin. You will get some of these in a nursing program, but not all the courses you need to become a PT.

Although, entrance requirements vary, most schools require a year of general bio, chem, physics as well as psych, anatomy and physiology, calc/trig and statistics. Therefore, most students choose majors such as “pre-PT” “health care sciences” “kinesiology” etc.

I would also recommend going to the APTA website at http://www.apta.org They have great information for prospective students.
