No — none of the For Profit online schools are respected.

No employer will hire you with an online ONLY degree.. it’s a waste ot time. I went that route.. spent LOTS of money.. 3 courses from graduation, I was informed that it was NOT an accredited program and that only 1 state honored it .. so I was screwed.. Stay away from them. If they have an on campus school, sometimes employers will accept it but it’s questionable.. Your best bet would be to find an on campus school that offers classes online and in class and do both.. Also you CANNOT get financial aid for online classes. They are not certified by Dept of ed and therefore no aid.. if they are not eligible for aid.. even on campus schools that don’t take financial aid are not accredited and most employers look at that degree as garbage

OMG?! $515 per credit hour? For an online program? That is outrageous! Go to community college for god’s sake.

Or better yet, get a few books on graphic design and nice computer. Total cost: $1500. Then practice, practice, practice. Do some web design pro bono and build up a good portfolio as well as a network of clients.

OR give a professional web designer $2000 to spend 2 weekends with you showing you the ropes.

I seriously think that those two options would net your greater respect and credibility than an online degree from Devry.

Plus you’ll save around $33,000 (plus interest).
