I work as a professional Head-Hunter so I’ll be up front with you. NO. Everest College is not a good online choice. Keep in mind that when you graduate from any online program, your degree will be on your resume and HR (Human Resources) folks will be able to see where you graduated from.
Their are many online schools that are best described as “degree factories”. Basically this means that the courses are easy and getting a degree is a piece of cake. When a hiring manager or HR Representative see’s this type of degree on your resume they know you went to an awful school and aren’t as qualified as others that attended more well known institutions. Everest is one of these schools. Another great example is the University of Phoenix. Just because a school is accredited doesn’t mean the degree they give is worth anything.
I would recomend doing your homework and looking online for other schools. Your best bet is a good University that also offers an online program. The school should have a physical campus but also offer an online option. This may cost more but the education will be better and the degree will hold more weight in the professional world. Good luck!

I agree that Everest Online isn’t one of the best online schools and it’s only nationally accredited. I will say that Everest is not a “degree factory”, and the diploma is worth something in certain areas. You can’t finish any quicker than any other school, unless you decide to pile up on courses and I’m sure no one wants to take like 6 classes at once. Anyways, it’s an okay school as long as it’s accredited where you decide you want to get a job. Now, if you’re transferring credits, you’re probably not going to find a lot of schools that will accept them. You can get your Bachelor’s degree at Everest Online, but that’s it, so if you were to further your education and get a Master’s or something then you’d just want to go to a different college.
Also, Everest is pretty expensive, I mean, yes…there is financial aid, but sometimes it doesn’t cover all of it and you’ll have to make monthly payments on the money that you do owe.
Well, hope I helped.
