No, they’re not regarded as nearly as professional as from a physical university. They mainly provide a way for extra credits or for people out of college to get a degree required for work.

yes the qualification s worth depending on which university in providing that and in which way they have designed the online course for students.

generally correspondence studies are more relevant and are given more weight age.

many foreign universities do provide students with online courses, which are worth gaining the qualification.

You see that you received two answers with absolutely opposite points of view. One told you “online” isn’t as good as a real “brick and mortar” college, while the other said online is just fine. So here is what you need to know. “Online” means several different things. If you are talking about an “online” degree, in which the entire thing is taken “online,” that you never actually attend classes, and that is offered by an organization which actually doesn’t have a real campus but just offers “online,” then forget it. It’s a waste of your time and money. If, however, by “online,” you mean a few “online” courses (not the entire degree) offered by a recognized college whose name everyone knows (like, say “The University of Texas at Austin” or “Georgia State University”) then the online courses mixed with a majority of physical, in class work are probably fine. The “online” education world is filled with fly-by-night organizations which are just after your money. Any institution which promises to grant you the degree earned entirely online is almost certainly a scam because there are too many courses which cannot be offered effectively in an “online” environment. Stick with a college whose name you know and avoid “institutes” you have never heard of. There’s a lot more work involved in earning a degree in person, but you’ll save the wasted time and money you would have spent getting a “degree” which isn’t worth the paper it is printed on.

Actually online education is worth it if you take it from an unaccredited university. So you should take online education from an accredited university. Here are some accredited universities:
•Grand Canyon University
•Strayer University
•South University Online
•Capella University – Online
•Walden University
•Kaplan University
•Villanova University Online
•American InterContinental University Online
•Western Governors University

Today pursuing an online education is becoming the norm. It has become more and more accepted as a way to earn a degree. Working adults in particular with full-time jobs and family obligations are taking advantage of this great opportunity to return to school and complete their education in order better their lives. This goes to show that there is some worth in an online degree.
