Well, a lot of online programs are geared more towards those with their ADN (associate’s degree in nursing)…at least at my university. They have an RN to BSN program that they offer that is strictly online for those who already are nurses, but want to obtain their Bachelor’s degree. This is necessary to do if you want to go forth into an advanced nursing practice (such as a nurse practitioner) I’m sure there are many online universities you can choose from. May I offer a wonderful website that I stumbled upon only three months ago?? It’s called allnurses.com and it is sort of a forum as well as a very informative website. Just type in their search engine “online nursing schools” and you will get many results there. Sorry I couldn’t give you too much help!! Good luck…nursing school is super challenging but worth it.
