So I go to school online. I work 40 hours a week at a very stressful job, and I make most of the money in my household. I am going to school to be a teacher. I do not think if I have an online degree that I will get a teaching job. I want to quit my job and go to an actual school, but I am not sure how I can do that. My husband has been applying for jobs FOREVER that will make enough to cover our expenses plus has benefits. He has had no luck. He only has experience in the food industry and has no degree. We also have a daughter. I am at a loss and I am wondering if anyone has any tips for us? I am still doing online school in the meantime because right now paying for our family is top priority, but I don’t want to keep going to this school if I will end up not getting hired. Any advice?

You and your husband are at the end result of making bad lifetime decisions, the worst of which was not getting a good flexible education.
On the other hand, today’s recession is so desperate that eve people who made good decisions in life are often caught in a bad situation and can’t get out.
Probably, short-term you need to rely on relatives to help you out while your husband either takes short-term training in a field with jobs (Welding?), or he leaves you temporarily to travel to wherever there are jobs.
Make sure your school is reputable (not something laughable like U of Phoenix), and make you are getting a reputable degree that actually leads to a good job (most online degrees don’t).
