If a 16-year-old takes high school online, will one of her parents have to stay home with her, to help/supervise/make sure she’s actually doing school? Or can they go to work and she can do her school work on her own?
Also, If I were to take school online, could I work during school hours? Or are there not designated school hours for online school.
Work, as in a job.
RE:Mkway20- I really dislike my school. I’m a very fast learner, and my teachers repeat the lessons like 3 or 4 times before we move on to something else, and I get bored. So then I have the problem of handing in work, cause I know how to do it, so I don’t do my homework. I also learn much better when I teach myself.
There are no restrictions to online school except for time frames to hand in work, you can do the work any time of day as long as the work is submitted on time. Parents can help if they like but no one has to be with you while you work. At 16 years old, I’m assuming this is grade 10 or 11 why not finish at regular school, online school is expensive and takes much longer is a lot of extra hard work. I’ve taken an online course and it was much harder than regular class.
