Do you like music, concerts, clubs, lots of friends, watching movies being filmed and a huge amount of other things?

Do you watch “Austin City Limits” on PBS (or watch the full episodes online for free on PBS.org)? How about an international film festival, or a young Stevie Ray Vaughan playing at nightclubs for free? How about green rolling hills that include a brand new Formula One racetrack?

You can also go north for a few minutes and be in the woods or go east for an hour and be in Houston (professional sports, etc.). Like movies along the line of anything by Quentin Territino or classly flicks like “Blood Simple,” etc.?

If any of the above peaks your interest, then UT in Austin is well worth a second look.

Austin Texas have very good nightlife and is a great town in general.

UMD- College Park is a quite sleepy, run-down town to be honest. Nothing much there but like you said, Washington DC is right down the road.

Wash D.C.- Nice town, lots of museums, restaurants, etc. To be honest though, I lived there for a few years and didn’t enjoy it all that much.

College Park- Supposed to be a Great College town. The town is small but college-town life can be quite exciting.

texas a&m- Heard its pretty quite but not sure.

Also you can check out collegeprowler.com and see student generated reviews for night life and local environment, etc.

I’m an aggie and go a lot to bryan/college station. Its a growing city and there are bars near campus that do get active on the weekends. As for other stuff to do there are shops and stuff and if you are into art stuff there is a first fridays in downtown bryan every month.
