Does anyone know any sel paced, distance learning colleges? other then ashworth college or penn foster?

I have done my graduation and PG in Philosophy from Delhi University, I want to pursue further studies like M.Phil and Ph.D in the same area or Comparative Religion or related areas, where can I enroll for distance learning, both options in India and abroad are welcome.

Ive seen a distance learning course for counselling online. It says after completion of course i will be awarded a Diploma in counselling, with the knowledge I gain from the course would this suffice to open my own Privatecounselling clinic with just me as the counsellor? Or would i require more training etc.
