Just would like to know you think of online learning.

I would like to continue my education and get MS Degree via Distance learning. Is there any graduates from Distance learning Universities? How effective it is, is that worth spending money, time and effort? Does it much affect if you’ve finished full time or distance course?

Had a professor tell me it was available entirely via correspondence, but the website says at least 24 hours must be completed in residency. What does “in residency” mean? Is it more of a 3-week stay out there, or is it an entire semester sort of thing?

I want to study A-Levels from home (well, not actually home- whilst living abroad) but have found loads of bad reviews for ICS and NEC online and I was hoping someone could recommend a good, supportive distance learning programe?!
