I have did my BE and working as software engineer. I am planning to do MBA and I have seen few of the colleges offering online courses. Does these courses have any value in India? any of the Universities consider these as regular degree?

The degree is MS in Embedded Design.

I am considering taking up a University course in Computer Programming etc. From Athabasca University. But I can only do the online program.
Would having a degree from an online university have good value towards getting a job in the Computer Sciences?
Athabasca is accredited school.

Employers out there, what’s your opinion? Prospective employees, do you feel you were treated the same if you had an online degree?

In areas such as psychology or businness?

There are many universities offering online masters degree in engineering these days. Some even by good universities like Purdue etc.
Is it worth investing into it?
