There are several out there. I attend Capella University, working on my Masters in Mental Health Counseling. I love the fact that my professors are so in tuned with my studies and are actually in reach if I need help. One thing you want to make sure you pay attention to is the accreditation of the school and the degree program you are pursuing. Check the prices. Online universities are pricey, the least expensive I’ve seen was Western Governors University, but they didn’t have my degree program (www.wgu.edu). Beware of diploma mills, of course you already know that. But I don’t know which would be considered the “best” school, because online learners have different opinions on their school of choice. It depends on what program you are going for, the demand for it out in the job market and in your local area. Look at reviews and critics and make your own choice….Research thoroughly before making that move.

The best online programs are at the best colleges. Almost everyone is teaching online now so your options are many. For example: If you’d like a master’s in international humanitarian law online, the best is probably Oxford.

The answer depends on a few factors you haven’t provided; what degree level (associates, bachelor’s, master’s, doctorate), in what, and where are you? ?
