I’m pretty sure New York State doesn’t accept online Master’s degrees/certification. I think you have to physically go to an accredited school. There are some good ones near me in Rochester. SUNY Geneseo is cheap and well known for their teaching program. I am at U of R…but it’s very pricey.

It’s possible that you can take some courses online but I think the bulk of your coursework has to be in the classroom. Some other states will accept online degrees…but New York has a lot more rules/laws than other states.

Try University of Phoenix. It seems to be everywhere.
