There is no age limit to apply to US universities.
Your biggest problem is money. Without already having money to pay for tuition you are not going to make this happen.
US schools are going to cost at least $30,000 per year for tuition and room and board. and that can go as high as $50,000. Plus, books, travel and personal expenses.
US universities offer very little finanical aid to international students, and there are few scholarships available to you.
You would need to apply, be accepted, prove you can pay, then apply for a student visa for here. Applications fees are about $50-$75 per school.
US students (and international) will apply this fall to start college Fall of 2013. Applications will open up around the end of August.
the school year will start Mid August.

Average cost of a 4-year degree for Americans is $250,000. Foreign students should plan on more as they have additional expenses. Proof of sufficient funds for all school + living expenses plus return transportation to your country of citizenship is mandatory to apply for a student visa. If you were accepted at a US university, you must apply for visa from within your country of citizenship.

The US is nothing like the movies! You’re fantasizing, not dreaming.
