If you want to be a doctor, you should NOT start at a community college. You’ll need to complete a major for a bachelors and take the premed classes to apply to med school, and med schools often won’t accept premed classes taken at community college – so you need to start at a 4-year college. Keep your college GPA well over 3.5 and do very well on the MCATs to have a shot at med school. Then you’ve got 4 years of med school (at a different university) followed by 3 years of residency (somewhere else again).
