Go to school…use the school on the internet to get ahead. You need to learn how to deal in the dificult social environment of Highschool if you want to servive successfully in the rest of the world… you will do yourself a dissrevice by staying at home…unless, of course, you live in one of the colorful urbanite settings where the morining welcome at the local highschool is the beep of a metal detector and the cold proding of a detection wand…then stay home.

It only works if you are dedicated and highly motivated. It is a lot harder than real school, you have to teach everything to yourself and rely on yourself without much outside help. Its very rewarding though. You also cover more, like at normal school they dont usually go through the whole book but here you probably will. You dont have outside distractions and have more free time to yourself to do other things. You can work at your own pace. There is a lot of online institutions like Stratford, or James Madison, I would google it and see which one you can most afford and live closest to. If you are just now getting into it the social part shouldnt be a big deal. You will have already learned how to socialize and deal with confrontations and such. Just try and keep in touch with friends from school, otherwise you are going to feel left out.

I know people who have done online high school and graduated and were quite happy with the experience. It can be demanding, but that just means a better education, right?

If you could share where you live, it’d be easier to tell you about programs in your area. Local school boards may even have an online program for you to sign up with.

I’m doing Cyber school and I love it!!! I’m going to be doing it forever! (Well, 4 more years!) I think you should check out a cyber/charter school in your area. You’ll proabably fid it fun and enjoyable. You do get collage credits and even a graduation ceremony somewhere with others from your school. (At least that’s what PA Cyber Schools do). I hope you find what’s best for you!

Oh yeah you were wondering if it’s easy. It is if you’re a hard worker! And it definatly works! I’m loving math this year (prealgebra) but last year when I was doing it on my own I found it hard to concentrate. The teachers at Cyber School and the in depth books and work inrich my learning experence. I know that if I dropped this school and went to public school I wouldn’t be getting anything better at public school.
