why are so many people against u of phoenix online degrees? are there any success stories out there?

I have completed a AA degree and currently active duty military so I cannont attend traditional college, is it a bad idea for me to continue with my bachelors?

It’s a for-profit McCollege where people can go for a McDegree. How can you possibly consider getting all your training from an online course marketable or a basis of true knowledge on a subject? Please. I do not consider learning business online with zero hands on training to be a respectable degree. Sadly, that’s the crap that UoP peddles. It’s a scam…and a ridiculously expensive one too.

I believe it is because they are unaccreditted, which means the credits are not good at other schools.

The University of Phoenix is an accredited school and is not better or worse than many for profit schools
