I have been browsing the web for a while trying to find a college/university that I can transfer to from my community college (CCSF) in San Francisco. I want to major in computer networking (NOT Computer Science) and I am having a really difficult time getting any choices. Can someone please explain to me why I can’t find any, and am I calling it the wrong name? What are some good 4 year universities that do provide a degree in a networking type of field? Please mention state universities, no online courses.
I see, well then, I am screwed. Why? Because I hate math, and from what I see computer science requires a lot of it. I could go the networking certification route, but who wants to just get a certificate and not a degree. Damn it.

Computer networking is too specialized a field to be an undergraduate major. An undergraduate major in computer science should enable you to concentrate in networking in graduate school.
